My gorgeous 4 year old niece Emily went for her first ever riding lesson today at Grove House Stables Equestrian Centre, Misterton. Despite a few last minute nerves on the way to the stables, she was soon up and riding around on little Shetland pony Smudge, having the time of her life! Smudge was the perfect gentleman, and the staff were brilliant, quickly making Emily feel comfortable and confident in the saddle. As well as learning how to stop, go, steer and even trot, Emily also began learning the basics of horse anatomy. The staff’s interaction and teaching skills with the little ones was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Grove House stables for your child’s riding lessons.
